The story
The Creature Pod light by Megan Macdonald balances humour and refinement in equal measure — hand built and wheel thrown, the sculptural form appears to perch delicately on a set of animated feet, as though it might suddenly scuttle across the room. Leaning into playful character and personality, each lamp exists somewhere between functional object and small companion creature, bringing warmth, charm, and quiet absurdity to the interior.

Made from stoneware ceramic clay body. It is 100% raw clays mined from the Whitemud formation in the Ravenscrag area of southwestern Saskatchewan
