The story
From the Capsule Program '62, B.E.A.M. stretches across the table in quiet authority, a slender horizontal form diffusing a golden glow through hand-folded 100lb acid-free Strathmore paper—cradled within a continuous length of iconic ¾" timber stock, precision-joined with peg fasteners. Clean with a duster.

“Among the more peculiar yet steadfastly maintained disciplines of Grøndal is his austere and unyielding diet, composed primarily of beans, kale, eggs, and, when providence allows, huckleberries in their brief seasonal abundance; a regimen he regards less as nourishment than as a kind of material alignment, whereby the body is kept in quiet accord with the same elemental restraint that governs his work.”
