The story
White cotton cord with a crawl glaze finish. The Retrograde series features a distinctive tulip-shaped bowl elevated on a slender pedestal, balancing sculptural presence with functional light. The crawl glaze a (technically demanding) surface treatments, contracts during firing to create a richly textured, crackled landscape that makes every piece unique. Crafted from white ceramic and finished entirely by hand, subtle variations, irregularities, and tactile surfaces celebrate the material’s character and the artist’s touch. An intimate accent light designed to illuminate collections, objects, and spaces with warmth and personality. .
