The story
Gold cloth twisted wire cord with a light creamy glaze. The Retrograde series shares a distinct tulip-like bowl form perched atop a tall pedestal base. Each piece is made from a white ceramic body finished in a simple glaze, allowing the raw character and subtle variation of the material to remain visible. The hand of the artist is apparent throughout, with gentle irregularities and tactile surfaces emphasizing the handmade nature of the work.
